i figured out my mpg today after the CAI

powertrain control module. it's \your blazers computers that controls the engine.

i found i got worse mpg with a cai. can't beat that sound above 2500 rpm it makes though

wtg nemo... I'd say it helps power & mileage & the sounds is great! A guy at a muffler shop I was at was asking the owner about a CAI - I said come outside & take a listen! lol SOLD, he got one that night off ebay I think.

Yup sounds great, that throttle body growl under the hood (especially out of dual exhaust)... As for mileage thats odd, should have free'd up a bit of air & helped it. Mine doesn't have that throttle body sound anymore, more the whistle of the supercharger & I kind of miss that growl, but I know it's making a lot more power with the whistle.

yea i got me a spectre air intake too on my 4.3.and added a tornado in the tubing too.i bought it cheap at autozone last yr. for like 20.00

Google "Automotive air intake Tornado Scam". I don't think those work. As far as the intake goes, I have not noticed an increase in mileage with mine. Might be the cold north east weather though. I also drive 70mph on the freeway daily.

cold air inductions are good, but the tornado is just worthless.
