on average i usually get a little over 15mpg. I love my Blazer but she can guzzle some gas. Unfortunately people don't buy these trucks because they are good on gas. Good to see i'm not the only one not doing so hot on mpg's:icon_goofygrin:

I changed wife's 98 Bravada with 155k to Amsoil in tcase, Trans , front axle, and I didn't have engine oil in stock so we did Mobil 1. With all that we got 15-15.5 AMD she does mostly highway and she's a little aggressive sometimes, but not bad at all.
Fluids used was:
Engine : Mobile 1 5w30,
Trans: Amsoil Signature Fuel Efficient formula.
Tcase:Amsoil Signature Universal Trans fluid. ( auto trak 2 approved)
Front Axle: Amsoil Severe Gear 75w90

About two weeks went by and it needed a tune up Cap was no good.
I gave it full tune up with AutoZone duralast gold cap and rotor. Can't remember shut about the wires I put on. While I was at it I took a suction gun for changing axles and underbody transmission fill locations and sucked all all the old nasty PS fluid out of reservoir and put Amsoil Fuel Efficient Trans fluid in it and would start it for a minute or so . I did this about a dozen times or more till the fluid came out looking like new then did it a couple more. After that according to the on board computer she was getting 19.5 plus or minus. My experience is it's a little off up to 1 mpg usually for the minus but I've seen positive here and there.

We never got rear axle changed just topped it off.Truck was wrecked a few months later .

Note : it dropped down to 18.5 or 17.5 with the cold drop this December it was wrecked on 12/25/16 by drunk driver.
