Ok everyone, need to pick some of your brains for a solution and if it is feasible to do. I have a 2000 S10 Blazer 4dr, and I had it for over 8 years now. She had a hard life but never let me down once. over the next year she is getting a make over with new motor, switching the open end center sections out for posi units. Body freshened up and new interior.

My question is, I have received a transmission and transfer case out of a same year suburban 1500. It sat behind a 5.3L and is a good candidate for a rebuild. Will this trans/transfer case combo fit in my S10 blazer without mods to the body, computer, and drivetrain? Since the motor is staying 4.3L but being rebuilt with 350 V8 parts and a small breadbox supercharger. I was told this trans and transfer case can take the torque of the motor.

Would like to hear you thoughts on the matter

Transmission would be a 4L60e which is the same thing that your blazer has so yes it would fit no problem, I don't know if all of the signals and connections are the same for your computer to be able to shift the transmission though. A year on the transmission would help for others to give feedback on that part.

The transfer case is different though and as far as I know, won't work. It's physically larger than the stock transfer case and then there's the electronics portion of it as well.

I have received a transmission and transfer case out of a same year suburban 1500. 2000 Chevy Suburban. That is the reason I am asking, will it fit in the drivetrain without mods to the driveshafts, will the connections be the same, do I need to change the speedo gear in the tranny, etc..... Or should I just rebuild the stocker and be done with it?
