theres a screen inside the MAF that blocks the crud and some ppl think youll gain performance by removing or cutting the screen, but its not really worth the potential problems youll run into.

Well if I dont have a MAF it dont matter right? Im replacing the oxygen sensor this week so after i get some money saved up if its running ok and does not need more work im gonna put a new intake on it, should I go for an intake or exaust first? And by the way the intake on ebay is about 45$ and I just found a head sheild on carstuff for like 55, thats still cheaper than a K&N, should I go for it once i get some cash saved up

it doesnt really matter which you do first either intake or exhaust and i wouldnt install the intake until you have the heatshield for it and also throw away the filter that comes with it and pick up a quality filter (K&N,AEM). also since you dont have a MAF you dont have to worry about the screen.

Yea I was thinking get the intake, shield, and a K&N filter for it. But my local advance auto has a K&N intake for it including the shield and filter and all for almost 300$. I think I would be more comfortable going with all K&N but its expensive.

on the first long trip i took after i installed it i noticed about a 3-4mpg increase and that was without babying it or driving like a grandma, but its been on the blazer for almost 2yrs now and i have absolutely no complaints what so ever.

swartlkk was saying "You can't remove because you dont have one." i mentioned MAF sensor because I forgot you were a '95. Removing the screen has caused an up-roar in the past was was more of a joke anyway.

Also crestwood1001 I appologize if I sounded like an *** up top. I just re-read...
I'm here for the same reason. Try this for a CAI: Click Me

**EDIT** ROFL there was a whole second page to this that said exactly what I just did in like 4 other places...
