I'm going to start my V8 swap soon in my 01 and i'm staying with my NV3500 transmission. Does the donor truck i'm getting the engine and pcm has to be with the same transmission? Or can a pcm from a truck with an automatic transmission can be modified for my trans?

 

Depends how smart and conshensious you are. If you dont score high in these areas use the same donor build sheet and year.
