snow performance methanol/water injection anyone try?
so i was looking on the internet the other day for some upgrades to my zr2 blazer and i came across snow performance. snow performance is pretty simple you have 50/50 water and methanol injection and it says it will bump your horsepower(i wouldnt guess anymore than 30 hp if it even works) the kit is around 300$ but the only thing is you have to refill the 50/50 mixture ever so often. if anyone has tried this to the 4.3 v6 or has good knowledge on snowperformance please let me know what you think.
This type of setup is typically used to cool the intake charge on forced induction engines where the compression of the air causes it to heat up and cause detonation.
I have never seen it produce measurable results on a naturally aspirated engine.
