Adventures With Road Warrior
So I have a good time with my car every now and again. Mainly road trips so I guess this is the best place to collect and share those photos
So a quick introduction to the Road Warrior. She's a 2001 GMC Jimmy SLE. She has the 4 button 4x4
So I'll start with I bought it used back in August of 2010 with 58,000 Miles on the clock. She's my first and only car and has served me well
Here's day one pictures:

The Road Warrior has gotten me through the remainder of high school and into college

Snow is a normal thing in Michigan which is why these cars are in abundance up here

Won a photography contest with this picture within my collection

Dirt road detours on road trips never bothered me. Always fun to explore another way

And of course graduation week getting car painted by the group known as "The Mom Posse" They are target the Sr's cars during grad week

Along the way I've had to fix a few things

Those darn mirror covers

The rear wiper motor

And of course rescuing the car from Michigan cancer. First dive into bondo. Not perfect but not shotty
And a few other things which I've consulted the forum for countless times before becoming an active member

And college in the great Upper Peninsula is great in the Road Warrior. 8 hour road trips every time I want to go to or from home

The Mackinaw Bridge

After pulling a buddy out, driving back down the road my car found a sinkhole and got stuck. Needed two tow trucks to get her out again

Salt is a big problem up here especially on those long road trips

Great for towing stuff

But this is why everyone has these vehicles up there. We get a lot of snow

A blue Blazer is parked behind me here, but at the house next door they have 4 or 5 blazers there at any one time

And on my most recent trip around 85,000miles, the freeware tried to fight back

The road chunk thankfully hit the bezel and missed anything important so now I'll be replacing that probably in the spring.
Though this week I will be upgrading the interior with a new touchscreen head unit

People including myself do that when expecting snow or ice so that way your wipers are out of the way when it comes time to scrape all that crap off the windshield! I once ripped a wiper right off when I jumped in to start the car after a snow/ice storm and forgot that I had left them on the night before
