was thinking about making some shackles, and what exactly are ball joint spacers ? i just checked your build thread. wish i had a safari rack..

scroll down a bit and you`ll see em. Add an inch with out cranking the bars. Had to get wheel spacer though cuz the ball joint bolts on top rubbed the rim. https://blazerforum.com/forum/steeri...s-79195/page2/

i checked those spacers out, we have an assortment of those at work for doing alignments however i thought they were only used to correct bad alignment angles.. Will have to try out a set and take some measurements. also wondering how thick of material did you build your shackles from and how far apart you spaced the holes?

I believe the shackles where 3/16ths and 2 inches more than stock . Every 2 inches more adds 1 inch of lift

also the ball joints where flipped from installed through the top to underneath the arm

so even the lower ball joint gets the spacer ?
