I have a FM 40 on mine. It sounds great. I may soon change to a setup like Cliro's, but I want loud. I'll go with a strait up single chamber resonator instead of a muffler.

So as a first change exhaust change. I'd probably be good with a FM 40 series? Does it matter that their website doesn't show compatibility with my model?

Well, I see 3 40 series mufflers listed for a 2001 Blazer here at their website.

Yea but, if you click on them and look at the compatibility list, the 01' isn't listed or I'm overlooking it. But, taking from that you guys/gals are using them I shouldn't have much of a problem. Should I?

Hmm, I see most of them are 2.25" pipe, is that the standard pipe on a blazer or is it 2.50"?

I see the list you're talking about. The 50 Series I have on mine doesn't show on the list for '02 models either, but it fit just perfectly nevertheless. The pipes on your's should be 2.25", but measure just to be sure.

ya pretty much it doesnt matter if it lists ur blazer or not just make sure u get the right size inlet and outlet sizes and that the offset/center inlet/outlet match up w/ the muffler u have on ur blazer now
