I like your blazer...
What would people think if you had a similar blazer, (idea for ya spectre) and stripped it completely and just used sheets of metal to finish it off and give it a almost perfect smoothlike

yeah like no carpet? just sheet metal

*not trying to hijack

r3mix try what kyle said on the identification, yours looks very similar to my 350 , only difference i see is the carb and the compressor. but i don't know how similar the 350 and the 305 looked in comparison. and yes there was a 350 turbo tranny, which would be a 3 speed without/overdrive. commonly referred to as a 350:350 combo

*wlorton the pic above says you've exceeded your bandwith for photobucket

id like to do that with the dash, take all the dash stuff out, and make a new sheet metal shell for it all. nice, smooth, easy to clean. I got down there and looked at the block, and tried to find the identification on it, but its covered in grease/oil. kinda hard to see, assuming im in the right place. trans is probably the 350 then, its only 3 spd minus overdrive.

you could get something like this
this is what i still have to put in my truck once all is said and done
and you could use sheet metal to cover the bottom plastic for the metallic look. just something to mull over
