But hates freshly laid 6" of gravel...couldn't make it up the hill so I turned around.....and.........

got stuck...took 30 minutes to dig myself out...I was resting on my frame and skid plate...go figure! I actually wish I had 4wd


When I got home...I sea foamed her....just 1/3 can and this was at start up



I also disabled DRL and removed the auto on feature.

 

Looks like you had an awesome time.
I bet you wished you had a 4" lift aswell.

Oh yes. I wish I had more than a lift. Wish I had my compact shovel or at least something. I dug myself out with my hands and my tire lug nut bar.

It's a local logging track road.

 

So now you know the next time you go just bring some tools/supplies and it will make life easier. You would not beleive the list of crap that we need to have to go out on the beach. It is actually listed on the permit as required equipment. It takes up half of the back of my truck.

 

I created a 'winch' I took my tow strap and some strap downs and ratchet the hell out of them. Went back to truck went back some got out ratchet some more. Dug....dug and finally got it and slammed on the gas and bounced out.
