My blazer get a lil something new.....
that sub and enclosure combo is gorgeous!
surprisingly enough blazers/jimmys/bravadas can take quite alot of flex.... A freind of mine up north has a 18" Fi BTL and its a monster. I like my 12's so I stick with my 2 12's in a 3.3ft^ enclosure within the range of 2500w

they can take flex for sure. but flexing quietly is the hard part. I have over 100sqft of deadener on the roof and hatch with spray foam in between the roof braces because i kept breaking them off from the roof
the biggest noise issue i have and decided to give up on is the vents above the taillights, the rubber flaps vibrate massively and sounds like ****, i thought about closing them but figured it would cause more harm than good... other than that i have filled nearly all "gaps" behind the rear seats with polyfill... gotta fix them vents tho lol
i spray foamed the vents shut. haven't had an adverse effect. A little less exhaust fumes (since its turned down before the rear axle) is about it. my roof and hatch sounded like a jackhammer before I deadened. got so annoying. even with 1 15 off 300w. since I moved to 2 15's it was worse...
dont give chad any more ideas lol!! that'd look so bada$$ though..a hard top convertable blazer..kinda like how hard top jeeps can loose thier roofs..or you'd have to rig up the cargo area and turn it into a fold up hard top storage box ....ooo thats got me thinking of drawing one up just to do it lol
Nice. how much does a T3 go for? I need a sub real bad. My stock speakers ain't got no bass!lol
I want to get a sub first because since I upgraded my head unit, and my bro adjusted my levels(he does sound for theatre), my speakers actually sound excellent.
