Yeah man, they are pretty much like a GTP the 3.8 supercharged is, and man oh man is that a fast car.

I highly doubt a dealer is gonna trade your zr2 for that monte straight across though... You are gonna be paying some.

Let us know how it works out for you though please.

Both of those book out the same. The issue is the dealer is most likely noy going to give you over 1500 for the blazer.

Also don't tell me you couldn't do the basic math of what it would cost, that's either terrible or dishonest. Why not pick up a beater to commute with.

Heck pick up a 96+ cavalier. Get the gas mileage and a car that's easy to fix and deadly reliable. May cost all of 700 bucks.

So you are set on a monte? No more off-roading? Mudding? Trekking through snow better than most on the road? Going through huge puddles of water without worrying?

That last one is what sold me on going from DDing a Fbody to the Blazer. But then again I'm in Florida where it rains every afternoon from June-mid October.

OP- very nice looking ZR2 you have. Wanna trade? 66k miles on mine. Lol

I know, I know, lol. I love the monte though, Utility verses Luxury/Sport I guess.

Would you prefer your Puppy Chow with or without gravy? It's not uncommon to see 25+ mpg. I average 27 mpg and have seen as much as 31mpg. If you're getting poor mileage I'd suspect an engine in need of a tune, poor driving habits or some other mechanical problem with the vehicle. If you checked out some of the GP forums you'd see there are numerous owners that average well above 25mpg.
