Not that I want to highjack or anything... but did bouncing sockets off the fender work? I see your truck is running better.

Actually ROFL! it did. kind of like a BFH is one of the most useful tools in the box, tossing sockets at sheet metal/glass usually gets the job done*

*depends on the job needing done. if small dents and cracked glass is the goal, its the way to go!

This is Iraq in the Iskandariyah Province. This is during Operation Iraqi Freedom II (2004-2005). This was my second deployment and i left just OVER 6 months to the day after coming home from OEF. It lasted 12 months, I was sent home early after my wife lost her mind following my third injury from an explosive. This was in the good old days of Iraq when the shoot outs were still plentiful, IEDs were fairly new and highly primative (comparitvly), an Up-Armored M114 HMMWV could take a blast still, and PS2 was still TOP NOTCH technology. For this one, i bought a digital camera

Durring this time frame I was a SPC, served as a MK19 gunner then a Team Leader, assigned with the 118th Military Police Comapny (Airborne)

Heres a sampling enjoy. I have not Figured out how to post them in order, but they are captioned...try to view in order

dude not mine, i just played with them for 20-30 minutes until help flew in. Alex, you shouldn't post somethinglike that though. If you are wanting to see some shots, and I put a spoiler out, don't call me out in the thread. You'll get me banned fool! plus I'm too pretty for that. i just had shrapnel poked through me a few times.

Like I said on the comments box, if you look at pic #2, the three cats with red X's only got blasted by 2 155mm shells. We were 2 weeks into being in iraq, and that was our FIRST solo patrol after they turned the reigns over to us. Bad business.

Well good to hear it wasn't your insides lol.
And my comment would be the least of your concerns lol. Keep in mind that photo albums all cycle through on the main page, so that shot it bound to appear there for some people eventually lol. That's why I suggested you post them all with photobucket or imageshack and that way you wouldn't risk getting in trouble.
And I was looking at that pic with the X's trying to figure out what it meant lol. Thanks for the explination.

there is a key at the top. red x = out due to injury. green dot in injured but still in the game, yellow x means out due to other issues. only 2 guys in that pic made it the full 12 with no injuries from enemy engagements.

As for the home page issue, I plan to pull both albums today or tomorrow and post up one more of the most recent deployment. This is only here because 2 or 3 of you wanted to see em

This is Iraq in the Mahmudiyah region south of baghdad. This is during Operation Iraqi Freedom 5 (2007-2008). This was my most recent and presumably last deployment. I volunteered to move to a deploying unit from my S.W.A.T. gig because I never resolved a lot of personnal issues after being sent home before my friends. It lasted 15 months, but I had to leave early (again) after just 10 months when my daughter tried to die on us for the 3rd time (stopped making red blood cells). The good old days of Iraq were gone. This was strictly political and was essentially 10 wasted months of my life. Not only did I have a digital camera, i had a soldier tasked with taking pictures of what we did each day for nightly Debriefs.

Durring this time frame I was a 24 year old kid, a SSG, served as a Squad Leader in charge of manuevering 14 sould around the battle field, training, equiping, and assessing a 230 man iraqi Police Station, and keeping the tenative peace. I was assigned with the 65th Military Police Comapny (Airborne) "First in, Last Out, Airborne!!"

Heres a sampling enjoy.
Again view in order if you can. (other two albums are gone)
