I appriciate that. I debated on wheels for a while. And figured that Alloys would be lighter, and a 16 inch rim with a 31-32 would be lighter than a 15 with a 31-32. Debated on camaro/corvette/trans am/firebird rims and went with them cause I couldn't find much else around me. lol.

But they have really grown on me. I like a more "solid" wheel, thick spokes and or alot of spokes compared to a 5 point star design or skinny spokes. But these arn't bad. Plus everyone does steelies and 80's model camaro rims, so I wanted something a lil diffrent. (No offence to anyone running those, they look great!)

Thanks old school for the update on my plumiting HP numbers....
Ha ha, do I hear 100 hp?
I knew it wasn't much but my Lord. No wonder I have to get out and push my truck up hills, lol. Oh well, just leaves more room for improvement.

I think oldskool is right - 140 sounds familiar. Don't worry. I have an 84 Jimmy with a 2.8L with a carb (and no computer I might add) that's got about 100 HP (115 I think but what the heck it could be less and probably is - but I love it). Go 1st gens!!! They're my favorites even though they look like a shoe box on top of a shoe box.

Hmmm... do I smell a 92 with a 350 TBI in the works? An LT1 would go good with the Z28 rims lol.

As nice as that would be, it's not in the immediate furture. I'd need another vehicle for my DD. And I'm struggling just to get by, let alone a 350 swap. But idk I think I'd want to do something diffrent than the usual 350 if I did a engine swap. Maybe a 383 or even a 454 from a 90 SS with camshaft and some other goodies.

But that is a very good idea. My ex girlfriend, (still good friends) dad owns one of the biggest salvage yards in WV. And they build muscle cars and race cars and such. She just got a 90 jeep Cherokee and they are planning a 4 inch lift, 33's and a leaf spring conversition and a 350. So maybe I could get my truck squeezed in there somewhere. lol!

your problem is your truck is auto.

the pride of my 1st gen collection (my '92 in my sig) was stick, and even with my 20 ft car trailer hauling my 3700 lb Dart, i could still do 80mph up a 11% grade.

and for some reason, my Jimmy wasn't hobbled by a top end limiter.

and no i'm not gonna restate what that top speed actually was. lets just say it was waaaaaaaaay above the legal limit.

So in other words, when you let off the gas, the speedo stayed buried for a bit and then started to fall. lol. Yeah I know automatic trans cut down efficancy by what, something like 20-30%.

Everytime I drive a manual, I always do better if I'm flying. I can drive the speed limit and all but it seems like I always want to speed in a manual. Where as with my blazer. I just enjoy puttin along at about 60-65 on the highway. BTW I respect your collection in your sig. Shows that you've enjoyed the open road, (and laying on your back wrenching) alot.
