sounds pretty good. I'm still unsure about what muffler I want to go with. All of them seem to make the Blazer sound funky at the higher RPMs

I'm from Dartmouth! Always good to see locals around. I see you're living out west now though. Too bad. I love the valley. Lots of good times had down there.

Only had it on a few months now. And I couldn't rev it too much for two reasons. Low on gas and didn't want to wake the neighbors. Can't wait for the packing to fall out.

Go romp on your truck for a bit then take it for a car wash, it'll take care of the fiberglass packing.

i don't know (about the muffler)..........i think my stock one has a pretty good tone to it actually, just wish it flowed better. which is wierd, 'cause the damn thing is pretty much a straight through design.

but that tip has got to go (if not already so), it's just so wrong! kinda like those stupid "boom tubes" tips every red neck puts on his pick 'em up truck! (IMO)

anyone know why these 2nd gen 4.3's have such a different exhaust tone compared to the 1st gen's? my '92 had a fully done (still single though) exhaust on it, and it actually had quite the growl to it.
