Took my girlsfriends older style Sony X-Plod. She put a Kenwood in her Toyota after the iPod cord broke

If I had the Rig I wanted (like a late 70's) I'd put 2 cigarette power ports and maybe a window. Or if I could find one a 2 **** with usb input. but since I have an 01 I think I'm going to put in an amp with no head unit, and rig some kind of a docking port for a small tablet, with GPS and a music app. if that makes sense.

Default Cassette Swap

Thinking of putting in a plate with three powered goosenecks coming out for phone/tablet/gps hookups. I think it would give me the most options and still look ok. Just got it last week and I already hate the stock cassette deck.

I epoxied a peice of ABS on to the trim piece that went around the tape deck. I added a USB / AV socket. I plan on adding a **** for my sub and the switches for my heated seats.
