Default 01 Blazer Rear Caliper keeps leaking.

i have a 2001 Chevy blazer i cannot figure out for the life of me. every caliper i buy leaks and my girlfriends pissed about not having her truck and is considering getting rid of it and im trying to find a avenue to go before it gets that dire. but first the epic details. she lives 40 miles away and was going to get ready to go home for work tomorrow. i check her tires to see if they need air and i spot the whole inside of the rim is soaked. i suspected brake fluid leak so she got a ride home and left the truck with me. i was reading on a forum someone said CRACK THE BLEEDER LOOSE first. incase it dont wana break loose you need a new caliper. im ****ing stupid and didnt do such. the line had a hairline crack by where it bolts to the caliper so got a new line on. went to bleed the brake caliper and the bleeder snapped off.. great. went to the junkyard got a caliper that had no indication of leakage. bolt it on and bleed it. caliper leaks from the piston. i buy a new seal kit and replace the seals. leaks from the piston again. went to napa and got a caliper. **** leaked from the piston. another ****y thing i noticed is im seeing brown fluid leaking from this caliper which makes me think someone else bought it it got returned then got put back on the sales floor and got sold to me. i been bleeding this brake for ahwile now and havent seen any dirty fluid whatsoever until this **** starts happening. took the caliper back got another one. leaks from the ****ing piston as well as exhibiting brown ****. so get my money back and order a ACDELCO new caliper from rockauto. thinking my troubles are over bolt it on bleed it. ****ing thing leaks from the piston. my lady dont even want this truck anymore. this has been going on for a month now and i have no idea what to do other than send back this new caliper for a refund, hit the junkyard, put on another caliper then just get rid of the ****ing thing.

Sounds like you have had a run of bad luck.

I replaced both my rear calipers a few years ago with no problems.

I'd try one more time with a new, not rebuilt, caliper with a guarantee.

Yeah I saw that. I'd still try again. That AC Delco one must have been a fluke.
