15x8 Wheels with 3.5" BS??
Hey I'm looking to get some 15x8 Ion Alloy 174 for my blazer but my knowledge of wheels and tires is limited. I know the rim size and bolt patterns are ok for my truck, but will the backspacing being 3.5" cause any rub? I plan to run 235s on them until I get some 31s after my lift. Anyone have experience with this size wheel?

I have those wheels. I had them mounted with 31's, so no experience with 235's. I have a small TB crank, extra leaf and shackles in the rear, and bushwacker cutout flares. So the front fenders are cut and also hammered into the interior area. Having said that I still had the tires rubbing on the back of the front fenders. After the 2" BL it helped and doesn't seem to rub, but there isn't much clearance that's for sure. I was after wheels in that style and the Ions were available. I just wish the BS was higher.

thanks, but I notice in your sig you have all first gen trucks. I have a 2nd
I did find a jeep with 235/75r15s mounted on 15x8s though so that tells me I can at least put them on the rims without issue because they're wider. I feel like I'd be fine with the stock 235 on them, wouldn't it just be like having 2.5" spacers?
