Default 1990 s10 Blazer 4.3 2wd Suspension Clicking

Hello everyone so this is my first post, if I do something wrong please tell me.
So I have a 1990 s10 blazer that is 2wd automatic with the 4.3. The body has very high miles, about 366,000. When I hit bumps the front suspension clicks. That is the best way to describe the sound, a loud click. Not sure what it is, the previous owner put "new shocks" on it, they do look new. My best guess was a bushing or something but being a high school student on a budget I cant just go drop money on stuff unless im pretty sure. Just wanted to know if anyone knows what this is, and also it doesnt make the noise while turning. Just if I hit bumps. Thank you in advance!
