Default 2000 blazer 1997 gmc sonoma rim swap

i have a 2000 blazer i am working on ( electrical issue ) and i have a very nice 1997 gmc sonoma i am driving now and want to put new tires on it but when the blazer is fixed i want to park the sonoma for long while and swap the tires and rims to the blazer will this work thanks

If they are both 2wd, or both 4wd, then they will swap. 2wd has 4.5" backspace, 4wd has 6" backspace. Some have put 2wd on a 4wd, but that cause the wheel/tire to stick out which some like the look off but may cause rubbing on the front.
