Default 2000 Blazer 4x4 stuck in 4 LO

I have a 2000 S-10 Blazer. The transfer case is stuck in 4LO. I have the 4-button push selector switch. When I try to press to go to 2WD or any other selection, that button blinks numerous times and stays in 4-LO. Nothing happens. I have it in neutral. Fuses are ok. I have good vacuum to the front differential diaphragm and it engages the front differential. I looked at/cleaned the TCCM pins and they seemed fine. Please help. I cannot figure it out.

Try getting it rolling 3 or 4 mph, shift into neutral, and then push 2hi. these trucks like to be rolling slightly to get in/out of 4lo.

Thanks for the tip, but that did not work. I'm guessing it's the TCCM, motor, actuator or switch. What's the best diagnostic procedure to isolate the problem? Or, how can I manually switch it back into 2WD so I can atleast sell it?

Check the actuator, I think it is under the battery. From what I hear, sometimes the rubber gets dry rotted and can cause the actuator to stop working correctly. You might need to replace it.

If it's stuck in 4low, the actuator probably has nothing to do with the issue. The problem is most likely in the transfer case shift motor. You can try to remove it and shift it manually with a wrench to get it into 2hi.
