Im a new member to the site,and hope I can be helped out with a problem I have? I recently bought a 2000 LS BLAZER 4X4,real nice and solid truck.You can tell its previous owner took care of him,and the tradition will be carried on!Ive been an S10 owner for 11 years and counting!To get to the problem Im having is when shifting from 2HI to 4HI on the fly or sitting still,the tranny neutrals out,and it never completes the transition from 2HI to 4HI.I have 4LO,and it works fine from 2HI to 4LO, and visa -versa,but the problem lies with the above mentioned.When on the fly,Ill push the selection button and the 4HI button will flash and stop,but in the meantime,the tranny neutrals out and nothing has taken place? The front shaft is still free and turning,and the tranny is neutralled.I have to go back to 2HI to roll again.There is no noise,or engagement taking place thru the process!When sitting still in 2HI,tranny in neutral,Ill push 4HI selecter button,transition to 4HI elluminates,flashes,and quits,no noise,no engagement,put tranny in gear,and find out tranny is neutralled out and front shaft is free and not locked in.iS THIS A COMMON PROBLEM? ANY ADVICE OR SUGGESTIONS APPRECIATED!!!!! RobD
