Exclamation 2001 rear bearing

Does the 2001 Blazer have a sealed real axle? Do you have to take out the axle to replace the real wheel bearing and seal or just the hub? if just the hub can you purchase the hub with the bearing and seal already there or do you have to replace separate? if I HAVE to go to a shop to have this done how much should it cost for them to do it?

You do have to pull the axle, but it's not very difficult. The bearing is pressed (hammered) into the axle housing and will need to be pulled out with a slide hammer, along with the seal. A shop should charge you maybe two hours of labor and 50 bucks in parts (rough estimate).
