Default 2003 Blazer front driveshaft

Hi I have a 2003 blazer 4wd and the front drive shaft binds on me, the u joint at the front axle is good, but the cv type joint at the transfer case binds. I am wondering if there is a way to fix other then replacement.

If it is unrepairable is there is any upgrade to replace it with.

They are not rebuildable if that is what you are asking. And there is no upgrades that I am aware of for the front driveshaft. Just make sure that you get the proper driveshaft for your application. If you have the NV236 - auto4wd option, the front driveshaft is different from the NV233 - regular 4wd front driveshaft.
