2004 4x4 trouble shooting and question
I am hoping someone will be able to give me some ideas where to start or how to fix the 4 wheel drive issue that i am having. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
It started last year when i would go to engage 4wd Hi it would light up but 4 hi and low try to engage but wouldnt. After a couple times pushing the button it would finally go into 4wd. Now just a couple weeks again when i tried it put it in 4wd when i was out hunting it did the same thing but would never ever go into 4wd. So I quite trying and would figure i would try it some other time. Well now when I either 4 hi or 4 low nothing happens the light doesnt change i cant hear nothing trying to engage. I get nothing at all. This is on a 2004 4door v6 blazer. Thanks for any help in pointing me in the right direction on how to trouble shoot and repair this.

Are there any codes stored? If you have the 3-button switch on the dash, it is fairly easy to check the codes (a thread in the tech article section describes the process). If you have the 4-button switch, you will have to get the TCCM scanned with a Tech2 or equivalent full feature scan tool in order to pull the codes.
