4wd to 2wd or awd build info seeker
Hi all, I have been gone for a while since I sold my last Blazer.
Well, I miss my blazer and I am looking for another and I have some questions I haven't found answers to.
4WD blazers are so much easier to find in Indiana where I am at, so starting with a 4wd 2 door for my project would be so much cheaper, I can graft on a 2wd suspension if needed, or thinking about switching to Bravada AWD like a newer Typhoon setup. I am not set in stone for this, I may make a trail truck if I get the 4wd bug in my head again, I already have a 4x4 though and really looking to build a 2wd drag blazer right now, 4.8L or 5.3L and turbo powered hopefully. I have been working on turbo cars for the last coupe years with my step son and I have really been itching for a turbo blazer build
I have searched and I am looking for threads on the following topics if anyone has seen or saved info.
1. Changing a drive train to convert a 4wd blazer to Bravada AWD if anyone has done that, maybe not.
2. Changing a 4WD to 2WD suspension and drivetrain, probably never happens.
Anything build or thread wise you can recommend would be helpful, thank you very much
