so are the brown and purple wires that are exposed supposed to be plugged in to the 4pin connector instead of the 4 grey wires?

check your glove compartment for rpo code starting with np_ more then likely has NP1

the wiring is the same for the 3-button but ignore the neutral indicator as there is none for the 3-button, just use the two center wires

if i get the other switch what do i have to do to get it wired up right? do you have a good wiring diagram i can use or something?

just need to use the two center wires as i said earlier, (those wires are just for lighting the backlight and leds)

I need to pin the brown and purple wires into the bottom 4pin connector?

ok awesome. After that should everything work right? the guy i bought it from said everything was working fine until the switch got stolen out of it. So im assuming he couldnt get the switch to work because he had the wrong switch... so if he is right i would assume everything would work fine if i get the 3 button switch...
