Default 4WD problems

Hi need a little help with my 4WD on a 2000 blazer. When I first use the truck I can engage the 4WD ( AWD LO HI ). When I turn the truck off and then go back to restart the 4WD won't engage. I already changed the actuator under the battery and the solenoid on the firewall. Any help will be appreciated.

I am not sure, as my issues were only vacuum related!! However do a search there are a few threads covering possible corrosion at the Tcm, and encoder motor issues....good luck u are in the right place for help!!!there wa some issues as well with the dash switch, I think there was cold solder joints? If memory serves me right.....
