Exclamation 4x4 Lowered HELP...

Okay i recently lowered my 4x4 4dr blazer LT 3" rear and 2.5" front and I like the stance it has but since its got stock shocks would it take the spongy ride the front has using a set of stock or aftermarket tyhpoon shocks all around? I see the suspension is similar on typhooons and Id like it too handle better some how my front end at high speeds on up and down roads is sloppy. Weird question my pitman arm and idler arm is bad too would it cause some of this? Please if you are going too bash me for lowering it then please dont respond too post thanks folks

you might get some hecklers but its more of a "no harm, no foul" sort of thing. its not like anyone is going to be mean just for the sake of being mean.
as far as your problem, i would suggest to look into some aftermarket shocks for an s10 pick up. they hook up the same way and a lot of people have slammed those on the ground. someone has to make something for your application.

Check your front suspension bump stops. If you've lowered the truck they should be contacting the arms a lot sooner, which should give a stiffer ride. If they're worn out or removed that will make things softer. If you cut them as part of lowering, you might want to consider either replacing them, or getting shorter ones to help the front suspension.

Also check your sway bar bushings. If they're worn out you'll get a softer front end suspension too.

replace the bump stops with some pancake bump stops.

The bad pitman and idler will cause it to "wonder" back and forth on the highway etc. you really notice it when you are behind a rig,or on a windy day

yeh i replaced my swaybar bushings and endlinks with poly and i noticed tnite that the bumpstops on front has hit hard at one time becouse they are smashed looking, so i guess dropshocks all around and replace front end components too help with the wander feel at high speeds.. bumpstops on other hand is just completlely wornout
