4x4 problem

Unhappy 4x4 problem

im having problems with my 4x4 engaging i press the 4x4 lo button and the transfer case engages but the front axel wont.i think theres a problem with the vacum to activate the front axel there is diafram under the battery but there is no vacum there the hose from that diafram travels over the engine and into the firewall is there any body out there that nows were the hose ends up inside the car or it travels some were else in the truck .

need help
