ok i just got a 78 k5 four wheel drive lifted it 6" built a 350 droped it in rebuilt the tranny with a shift kit, and threw it on 35x12.5 BFG mud terrains. my read pinion angle is good, i've yet to have any problems with that u-joint but the t-case to drive line u-joint keeps exploding on me. when i sya that i mean it, usually 2 cups are blown into 5 to 10 pieces and the metal + its self has one of the ends sheared off. what can i do? i've been thinking about lowering the T-case. I've got a slip joint in my drive line is it's possable, but will it help? if you have any sugestions let me konw.

stupid quistion, do you have the u-joints aligned, or "fazed", if the u-joints are not aligned properly binding will occure resulting in failier of u-joints. hope this helps.
