I have been thinking about getting a mini spool for my 1995 blazer, my question is do they have 26 or 28 splines in the rear?
Thanks, Shane

Yours should have a 28 spline if it is a non-ZR2. All non-Z's from 88ish and up have 28 splines. ZR2's have 30 splines I believe.

Thanks for your help. Have you heard any thing bad about the mini spools? Are they worth the $75.00?
Thanks, Shane

Are you going to be driving the truck on the road? If you are, DO NOT get a spool. You will not like the outcome.

You won't be able to turn. A mini spool locks the axle. Great for offroad, but when you go to turn, one wheel will slip or drag. You'll get a bouncing effect with lots of chirping. That is, untill another part of the axle gives way, and you drop your rear end.
Get a selectable locker if you're wanting to retain driveablity.

Spools are not for street driven vehicles.
