Default 95 Blazer - Max speed for 4HI

My vehicle did not come with the owners manual when I bought it used.

Is there a max suggested speed for 4HI? I know 4LO should only be used at very very low speed.

4wd in general should only be used for low traction scenarios.

4wd=/=speed, unless you're baja'ing - and I think even some of those trucks are 2wd.

That said, I'm not sure what the 'max' speed is, but I wouldn't use 4wd any more than you need to.

I'd have to get my owner's manual to check but I don't believe there is a recommended max speed for 4 hi. I wouldn't do more than 35mph just for GP but I have forgotten to take it out of 4 hi when hitting the pavement and noticed after a few miles while doing 65-70 mph. I just slowed down to about 30 mph and shifted back to 2 wd.

That makes sense. I'm not planning on doing 80 with it or anything, but didn't want to kick it in at like 45 in snow and have it blow up on me either

Thanks.
