Default rear axle flip

i have a 97 s-10 blazer i was interested in doing the rear axle flip. i was wondering how difficult it is and how much, if any, it will lift it? and what the best thing to about rear leaf springs arching the opposit way would be?

basically just have to grind off the spring perches and put new ones on top of the axle.. other things too. gonna need longer shocks, maybe. longer brake lines and the center pin will have to be placed into the bottom of the spring or just grind the bolt down so it looks like a pin.

You should be able to get the weld on perches from superlift. It will give you about 5in of lift. It will be fairly easy to do.

What do you mean about the springs arching the opposite way? You dont do anything with the springs

that would be a huge lift. It would have to be all custom made. Would require a solid front axle in the front. I have 9in of lift for 33s. You would also have to do a lot of fender trimming.

Yea. You can possibly run them with a 8inch if you cut the body up. I'm doing a spring over in the back with a 4inch block and my 33s would rub in front under heavy flex
