95 Blazer Transfer Case Vacuum problem
I picked up a used 95 Blazer 2dr w/push button 4x4 over the weekend. The 4x4 seems to work fine now, after I replaced the vacuum lines in the engine compartment.
Anywho, when looking around under the truck I noticed a vacuum line just hanging down over the top of the transmission. It just ends hanging down towards the ground. The other end is connected to the three vacuum line switch on the driver side of the transfer case. One of the other one's is the vacuum off of the intake, and the other goes somewhere in the engine compartment, but wasn't able to trace it.
My guess is this is the "vent" line coming out of the transfer case switch, but wasn't sure where it was supposed to vent to, or if it is actually just supposed to be hanging there.
Ideas?
Thanks.

I found this one if anybody else has the issue. This did end up being the vent line. The truck got a new transmission right before I got it and the guy didn't put the vent vac line for the 4x4 back.
This is the third line coming off of the vac switch on the transfer case. It runs over the top of the tranny to where the other lines run up, but runs up the Trans dipstick instead. It just has a little vent cap on it, which I did find sitting in the plastic skid guard on the front of the truck.
