Unhappy 97 Blazer 2WD sway bar size wrong?

Ok, Blazer was acting funny after hitting some backroads in a massive storm a day ago (I may or may not have run over some downed limbs and running water in the downpour...), looked tonight, and the driver sway bar link is sheared off...
I plan to replace both the sway bar links, and sway bar bushings with Energy Suspension or PST stuff, since i'll be under there... however, I went out earlier to measure it and got 1 1/4" on the sway bar... Energy Suspension doesn't even list that as an option for a 97 2WD, only up to 1 1/8"...

I measure the bar on the side, where it comes back parallel with the frame (i'm at work, it was starting to rain, and parked up against a curb...)
Did I screw up? Is the diameter across the front (where the bushings are) different from the sides? (Parallel to the frame after they bend 90 degrees from the front). Do I need to go out and do it again, or do I have an oddball, or is the catalog I saw just incomplete?

I actually got 1.290" with a caliper... at the cleanest spot I could find, the drivers tire rub-mark, lol...

Hoping to go in the morning after work, pick up the parts, and put them in tonight after I wake up.... help!

No no, lol.

I sheared off (as it turns out) both sway bar LINKS.

I re-measured the bar just now, backed it out and threw some cardboard down, got 1.3", or about 33mm diameter...

Also, with both links sheared off, it's hard to measure them... one still has the lower washer and bushing on it, I got about 3.25" between the washers, does this sound right?

The only performance links in stock locally are 2 3/8" inner washer to washer, so I don't think they'll work...
