Default '99 S-10 T-Case R&R ?

Hello,
My brother-in-law has the afor mentioned Blazer, and he has a bad T-case (or so he has been told.) Itwon't shift into 4-High. It is fine in 2 High and will shift and run in 4-Low, but not into 4-High. Seems kinda odd to me, but he was told the whole T-case is bad. He found another one used for $200 (which seems like a good deal.)I was going to help him R&R the t-case. Unless someone has an good idea that something else is wrong, and a way to troubleshoot it. So, with the R&R, he lives on the other side of the state, and I need to bring my tools, and he doesn't have many. Can anyone tell me what tools I need (like any wierd hex or torx tools.)

Thanks

Ben

Whats ironic is that i have the same issue with my t-case. What im told is the main causesare the vacuum 4x4 actuator that sits under the hood as well as the vacuum transfer case switch which connects to the t-case. Brand new these parts about about $60 together and this should fix the problem. I gotta get a set myself but im told these are all ya need. You can get either at your local autoparts store, ebay, or off of Jigg's site.

For reference these are what the parts look like. The first one is the vacuum 4x4 actuator and it sits near the battery if i remember right. The other is the t-case switch which should be on the t-case.
