I have a 1996 Blazer where the ABS doesnt work. When i turn on the ignition the ABS light doesnt even come on. And when i start the car up the Park light is turned on the whole time.

Any ideas ?

Have you ever checked the cables for your ABS that are by your wheel? Mine do this same thing because sometimes the rub on things like the ball joints and over heat and don't want to work unless I move the cables away.

 

Havent checked them yet. Bought the car last week so and its my first 4x4 so new to it

 

Looked at the cables and everything looks good but will do a cleanup around the wheels to see if it helps.

Wierd thing is that the ABS light doesnt even come on when i turn on the ignition. Is there another fuse for the ABS other than the one on the drivers side fusebox. ?

 

Read somewhere that there is a fusebox under the hood aswell on theese cars but i have looked and looked but cant find it. Starting to think there is none under the hood.

ANy input on that and also if there is one could u post a pic ?
