Default ABS prob & intermittent shaky idle

Hey everyone,
I've got a few weeks left of summer before I need to move back to school where I can't work on my car. I would really like to have the ABS work by then. I've talked about the ABS problem on here before, but I'd just like to go over the procedure on how to find/fix it before I get started. From what I remember, the consensus was that my ABS problem was probably a dirty speed sensor. The ABS light comes on after the car reaches 3MPH. I was told to remove the sensor and clean all the Michigan road grime that could be screwing it up. How do I find, access, and remove these sensors? I recently replaced the right rear caliper and looked everywhere for the sensor but couldn't find it. Pictures would be awesome.

As far as the shaky idle goes, it comes and goes sometimes. When the car has started and idles, sometimes the whole car will shake as if the engine were idling at 300rpms instead of 600, but the rpms are always showing up fine. I'm thinking that with 160k miles and 3 different owners, this old tired 4.3 might have worn bearings and gaskets.
What do you think?
Thanks!

First, there are no sensors on the back of the truck. Second...
Brakes - Low Speed (below 5 MPH) ABS Activation

Search and/or a browse through the Tech Article (DIY) Index FTW!!

checked the front sensors as was discussed in the sticky. One looked brand new, while the o-ring on the other had failed. I replaced the o-ring, cleaned off the magnetic sensor on both sides, then put 'er back together. No change. What am I missing? I would have used a multimeter to check the specs of the sensor as was discussed within the sticky but I don't really have any idea how to use a multimeter.

Connect the multimeter + & - leads to the terminals in the plug (doesn't matter which is which). Set it to the mV-AC scale. Spin the wheel. Observe the output which should be >250mV-AC.
