Default ABS question

When my ABS system is plugged the motor sounds like it is constantly working, is there anything I should look for so the ABS would work?

Thanks,
Jeff

Just for some clarification, if you install the fuse, the ABS pump is active even while stopped? Is it active with the key off? Is it active with the key in the RUN position, but engine off?

You have crossed wires somewhere in the system then or a bad ABS control module... Wiring problems suck to diagnose.
