Hello I installed an electric fan in my blazer and now the alternator is not charging the battery. I am looking for a more powerful alternator that would fit without modification. If anyone could suggest something I would be obliged.

 

Search for posts that discuss the electrical upgrades people do when they install a winch. There is an alternator from larger trucks that can drop.in as a replacement.

What is this fan you installed that is overwhelming the charging system? Could your battery no longer taking a charge?
