Hello,
Today I'm working on installing polyurethane bushings into some leaf springs I picked up in a junk yard.
I got a energy suspension kit part number 3-2142r and the bushings seem too small.
When installing the new poly bushings they just drop right in. They are just slightly loose.
I have never done poly leaf spring bushings before and from what I've researched you should have to press them in by hand.
If anyone has experience with these, is it ok that the bushings move in and out so freely???
btw I have a 99 ls 4 door blazer and the new springs came out of a 2000 4 door with z82 heavy duty leafs

in case anyone was wondering I said **** it and just put em in. My ride is alot more firm but its good. Before was like riding in grandpa's old Cadillac, now it feels more like a 3/4 ton truck firmness if that makes sense.
Side note putting new bushings in was the worst, most pain in the *** job, I have ever done. I've fixed everything from tractors to aircraft, old rusted in leaf springs suck.
