i would like a smooth finish so I think I am going to just use automotive paint and give it a good clear coat when I am finished.

For a street truck I think that would turn out better. The bedliner only works on trucks with more of a off road look imo.
but make sure to post up pics when you are done.

I will post pictures, but I have a lot of work to do first.... I just found out I have to replace the idler are, pitman arm, ball joints, steering box, and control arm bushings!!! I went to get a alignment done and they said all that has to be replaced before they can do it, at a cost of $1132. I am thinking of just letting them do it since I don't own any power tools. After that I just have to get the guts to paint the bottom of the blazer.

you really dont need air tools to do the items listed, but you can still purchace a air comp and air tools, most of the parts for the repair and still come out better that $1100 instead of some one else doing the job...

I have been doing a lot of reading on the steps to replace the parts, and at this time I just don't have the time to do the job. I always do all my own work but right now I don't have the time plus that price includes all the parts and the alignment. I know I could cut the price in half doing it myself, I just want to get it taken care of ASAP.
