Are the prices you are getting include them installing it? Because you can find ball joints, even the generic ones you quoted for much cheaper and install them yourself.

Now im not sure how easy it is to install, but i know im going to have to do the same thing soon.

It is a personal choice which brand to use. I like Moog because they do have a strong reputation but I do not know really if and how much better they are then any other brand. Get what you can afford and don't worry about it. Normal driving they should last many thousands of miles before needing to be replaced. I have got 420,000 miles on my 89 Jimmy and I rebuilt the complete front end about 7 years ago and I just had to do upper ball joints, idler arm and center link. Lower ball joints are still solid along with the tie rod ends.
