Ball Joint Headache
Have a 96 Blazer 4wd my problem is the ball joints in the truck aren't for ****. Who makes a ball joint that would last in the truck and what can I do to help them last longer. Tired of replacing ball joints.

Moog or AC Delco, both cost about the same ($50-$60 a piece), and both will last a long time. Raybestos-(professional grade) balljoints are also pretty good if you want to save some money.

I just swapped Moogs into my 03. They ran about $93 for both the upper and lower from Amazon. I am not sure how long they will last, but I had 160k on the stock joints.

Moog is the standard for S series ball joints. Lube them with synthetic grease and should last for many years. Raybestos only for brake parts, and even that is now questionable as they seem to be labeling Chinese crap with their name- I bought Raybestos Bravada brake lines and they were poorly made Chinese junk.
