Price really depends on what brand you get. As with most things, you normally get what you pay for. A few of the better bjs are from Moog, Napa and PowerPerformance, but you will spend a few more dollars for them. These also come with a better warranty.

Default RE: Ball Joint Question

Autozone has a Lifetime warranty on their ball joints. I can't remember what the brand name was, but they were about $40 a ball joint, so I spent about $160 on them and installed them myself. The installation wasn't too bad, but be prepared to take a while on it and have some form of alternate transportation, since I could only work on it for a couple hours at a time. I would say overall it took me about 10-12 hours, we had to mess with and drill out the original rivets and ran into various little problems as we went a long. There is a really good writeup on this forum that helps out a bunch. Combined with a Haynes manual we had little troubles with the actual steps needed to be taken.
