Front Lower Ball Joint Installation Instructions Chevy GMC S-10 S15 - 1AAuto.com - YouTube

There's a part two also. It should come up in related vids. That plus the chilton's or...the other one (also forgot the name) manual is all I needed for my first time through it.
The half shaft should pop right out of the knuckle. Btw, power performance also makes good steering and suspension parts.

EDIT: Also, you're gunna get scolded for not using the edit button to combine consecutive posts. Haha. Just a heads up.

That's an excellent video.. he does good stuff.
- but-
1. The usual quibble - like how he just taps the tapered pins up.. oh well.

2. NEVER use Linseed oil on brake surfaces, turpentine or even mineral spirits . Any oils at all will glaze the pad surfaces.
If it says on label 'can be used to thin oil based paints', dont use it. I have NO idea where he got that. Did a search though and some brit said coat rusty shields with linseed oil, on an old M-B, to prevent further rusting but he cautioned to not let it get on rotors or pads. So it is only common sense if linseed soaks into rust, it'll soak into pads.

- if you dont have brake cleaner, then use rubbing alcohol {90% is best} to clean off hand prints. It's what I use to get the preservative off new rotors.
