Default Blazer transfer case.....

Hello Everyone....

I am new to this forum and had a question for anyone that can answer it...

I have a 1996 s10 blazer with the instatrak 4x4 transfer case...For some reason my blazer does not have the push button option in it therefore i am thinking it is always in..I dont really know how that works but whatever...

I run a mobile home toter semi and tow my escort vehicles all the time on my return trips..However i was wondering if anyone knows how i would tow this blazer if you can not put the transfer case in neutral manually on the floor like all my other trucks..

Can anyone help me??

Default RE: Blazer transfer case.....

You have a fulltime AWD transfer case which is always supplying torque to both axles (30%F and 70%R). This makes it almost impossible to flat tow this truck. You could use a dolly and disconnect the rear driveshaft, but that is about it short of a flatbed trailer.
