So I just got my calipers, rotors, and pads replaced on the rear of my 01 chevy blazer. And I found out whoever did the brakes last only put one pad on. Ill post pics in morning of caliper!!

When I ran a salvage yard, I was walking past the used rotor pile and saw what looked like a fan. When I looked closer, it was a former rotor but both sides were worn off leaving ONLY the internal cooling vanes.

yep. ive worked on cars like that where people didnt even know their brakes were that far down, even had a few where they wore them down so thin the outside part actually broke off from the inside part.

My friend's dad is a mechanic and he said that he has seen a person grease their brakes up because they were squeaking(the wear indicator hitting the rotor), but the brakes didn't work so well with grease on the pads.
